Education For Afghan Children
EACH (Education for Afghan Children) our non-profit organization is dedicated to improving the school environment for children in Afghanistan. In the past few years we have worked to achieve this goal; acquiring and distributing over 10, 000 backpacks, notepads, pens, pencils and other school supplies to the Afghan children and teachers of 9 orphanages and 4 elementary schools in Afghanistan. We have provided seven deep drinking water wells in and around Kabul. All our work has been documented on video and has received a very positive review in the Orange County Register. In addition, a few words of encouragement have been sent from the President and First Lady, George and Laura Bush, and Congressman Christopher Cox.
Last year, EACH provided a scholarship to a young Afghan girl who came to the United States and studied at the Kaplan English Program. Now, EACH is offering a full scholarship to an Afghan girl currently living in Afghanistan to study at Chapman University in Orange, California. As a member, you can nominate the most qualified person for this scholarship by sending her resume to each4kids@yahoo.com.
We look forward to your support so that we can continue the scale of our operation. EACH has and will continue to be operated solely on a volunteer basis in order to ensure that each dollar allocated to its cause is directly benefitting the children of Afghanistan.
